On a slope of mountain Kissavos, by the sea shaw and under the mountain area of forest, the village is built amphitheatricly. It is the coastal settlement of Koutsoupia village.
It is nestled between the villages of Paliouria and Kokkino Nero, and abstains from Larissa city and from Agiokampos and Velika villages 68 and 17 km. respectively.
In recent years Koutsoupia shows great touristic development. The visitors can find what they need to enjoy the holidays.
In Koutsoupia there are beach cafés and bars, taverns, and rooms-to-stay at the beachfront.
Koutsoupia is highly picturesque, with beaches of fine sand and pebbles. The sea waters are not deep, though they are not too shallow. Every summer thousands of visiting bathers enjoy their swimming and their summer holidays.
